How many died

Major Events > 9-11 Crimes > Planes' Passengers

So where did the passengers go if these planes did not crash as we were told?

You must first understand and accept that the people that did this crime, were fully prepared to murder many thousands of people in the buildings that were ultimately the targets (WTC 1 and 2,  and the Pentagon). The total number of passengers on the four planes totaled 246 including the 19 so-called hijackers (this number changes from time to time so the final exact quantity may vary from this number).

Therefore, there ended up being 2,996 direct deaths on 9/11: (246 on the planes, 2,606 at the WTC, and 125 at the Pentagon (final quantity may vary). As we now know, however, there were many more casualties due to the toxic environment that first responders and citizens of Lower Manhattan had to contend with following the crime. Not to mention the deaths resulting from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan which resulted from this crime.

A preliminary (2002) total tally of the number of deaths related to the 9/11 events was originally published by the New York Times.

Clearly, the number of direct and indirect deaths caused b y this crime ranges upwards of 5,000 to 10,000 (hundreds of thousands when the wars are included).

So, when you stop and think about the passengers and what happened to them, you must keep that number of 246 in perspective. It is a small percentage of the total.

Now that you better appreciate the scope of this crime and the number of deaths/murders, let's try to answer the question of what happened to the passengers on the 4 stricken planes.
